Sessions are generally held weekly and last approximately 45 minutes.
Individual Psychotherapy for Children
Following a family systems framework and incorporating a combination of play therapy and cognitive-behavioral techniques as needed you, your child, and your child’s therapist will work as a team to explore how your child’s environment at home, school and in the community impact his/her functioning. In addition, you, your child, and your child’s therapist will determine what adjustments can be made to your child’s environment to help him/her develop more healthy and fulfilling relationships and behaviors. Sessions are generally held weekly and last approximately 45 minutes.
